About the Role:

As a Cloud Architect, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of cloud solutions on GCP. This includes:

• Strategy & Design: Developing and implementing robust cloud strategies that align with our customers' business objectives. You'll design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures that leverage the best of GCP's services.
• Implementation & Migration: Leading complex cloud migrations and integrations, ensuring a smooth transition from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud. You'll leverage your expertise in GCP services to build and deploy highly available and resilient solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance for cloud deployments. You'll work closely with security teams to implement best practices and mitigate potential risks.
• Optimization & Performance: Continuously monitoring and optimizing cloud resources to ensure peak performance and cost-efficiency. You'll identify opportunities to improve scalability and reduce operational costs.
• Collaboration & Communication: Effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and customer success professionals, to ensure successful project outcomes. You'll also be responsible for communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions on GCP.
• Lead cloud migrations and integrations from on-premises infrastructure to GCP.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and industry compliance standards.
• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful cloud projects.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cloud technologies and GCP services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
