The Position

Meesho is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Associate to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for assisting with all aspects of our marketing strategy, from ideation to execution.

Job Summary

In this role, you'll wear many hats and gain exposure to various marketing functions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting market research to understand target audiences and competitor trends.
• Developing creative content for social media platforms, email marketing campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
• Assisting with the creation and management of paid advertising campaigns across various platforms.
• Analyzing marketing campaign performance and generating data-driven reports.
• Supporting with the development and execution of brand awareness initiatives.
• Staying updated on the latest marketing trends and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, understand target audiences, and analyze competitor strategies.
• Develop engaging and informative content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) that aligns with the brand voice and marketing objectives.
• Craft compelling email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive user engagement.
• Assist with the development of creative assets for various marketing initiatives, including website banners, landing pages, and social media graphics (working collaboratively with the design team).
• Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads to ensure maximum reach and return on investment.
• Monitor campaign performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions) and generate insightful reports to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies, including social media algorithms, content marketing strategies, and marketing automation tools.
• Proactively identify new marketing opportunities and present creative solutions to the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0-2 years of experience in digital marketing or a relevant field (freshers can apply).
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media marketing and content creation.
• Analytical mind with the ability to track and interpret data.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Passion for social commerce and the Indian startup ecosystem.
• A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a drive to succeed.

Experience

This role is open to both freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field. We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in marketing principles, a passion for learning, and a willingness to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
