Job Summary:

As a Desktop Support Technician, you'll be the first line of defense for our employee's IT needs. You'll provide prompt and efficient technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, maintaining user accounts and permissions, and ensuring efficient desktop application deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software, and network connectivity issues faced by employees.

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring data security and access control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Desktop Support Technician role or a similar IT support function.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve a variety of technical problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with remote support tools a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience:
