Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets. You'll build strong relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies, identifying their needs and presenting customized travel solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your technical knowledge of the aviation industry with your sales acumen, playing a key role in SpiceJet's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve assigned revenue targets
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify and qualify potential corporate clients and travel agencies
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing SpiceJet's services and competitive advantages
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports to identify trends and track performance
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the aviation industry
  • Strong understanding of the Indian aviation market and its dynamics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Target-oriented and results-driven with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience:

This role is open to both experienced sales professionals (2-4 years) and fresh graduates with a strong academic background and a passion for the aviation industry.
