Job Summary

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Cloud Architect to join our high-performing engineering team. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and managing Swiggy's cloud infrastructure on leading platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring our platform scales efficiently, remains highly available, and delivers a secure user experience.

This role offers a unique blend of technical depth and strategic vision. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and security teams to define cloud architecture roadmaps, select the right technologies, and implement best practices. You'll also be responsible for optimizing costs, automating processes, and ensuring long-term sustainability of our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Select and implement appropriate cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) for various applications.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Implement security best practices and maintain a high level of security posture in the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into cloud solutions.
• Work with engineering teams to develop and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
• Develop and document technical specifications and design patterns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design.
• Proven experience with leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
